At Urd’s Well

The women come together to stitch, sew and weave. They have a common purpose. Babies are being born and they will need a stitch or two in the weave to perfect their life pattern. The spinners stand off to one side pulling the “wool” for the threads into form out of the clouds and the mists surrounding the dales of Urd’s Well, the ocean waves breaking against the cliffs surrounding Jotunheim –at Mim’s Well, and the fogs rolling upward from Hvergelmer. Where the women cannot be together in body, they are together in spirit, for here is the pattern of Life itself being woven by the Norns, stitched in the shadows of the Tree by the Hagia of the Woods, and the Assynjur of Asgard, for women are the Lifebearers, and we must make ourselves heard for the benefit of all beings. Skuld and Freyja, Valkyries both, Hela, and Frau Holle will have their hands in the Weave too, for those who are dying from Earth are being born now in Spirit, and those who are being born on Earth are dying to Spirit – two different dimensions, two different sides of the Veil, united by our love. Whatever we work at and bring our love to, that work is nurtured by our love.
