What’s a Gal to Write

The day is almost over… Thoughts are done being thought… And I am seeking inspiration for this blog tonight.

Well, I have just completed a project that has consumed several weekends. First I ripped up an old rug, then laid down laminate vinyl flooring. That looked so good that I couldn’t stop there, so I spackled and sanded the walls and decided what color paint I wanted. I ended up choosing a deep, dark purple on the red side of the spectrum, not the blue. I complemented that deep color with a lighter lilac shade on the ceiling and trim. Some people may find the room a little too dark, but it’s my sleep room, my dream room, and my “numen” room. It’s a place where I find the required quietude to go deep into meditation and the presence of the Gods. There is magic in the nine worlds, and this is my area for tapping into it. This is the place where I find the solitude to gather the inner strength to deal with life.

It feels good.
